I've seen a similar sambo technique to that, the demonstration on how to do it didn't make it look nearly as painful as that though.

This is basically what happens on the inside of the knee lock, the same rotation. HELL OF A' PAINFUL!

its listed as a knee lock on sherdog. im not sure what it is. its deffinately not a kimura though
