$Cost of BJJ classes

Postby 00Buckshot » 8. Feb 2010, 19:10

How much do you pay for your BJJ classes?

The school Im looking at is called BJJ Montreal ....what should a beginner pay per month?
What should a beginner look for in a school?
What are the things someone should avoid in a school?

Thanks

$135/month.. unlimited training
Two BJJ Black Belts who are Brazilians instructing with more black belts travelling through to add to the mix.

There are at least 8 BJJ places with a 60 miles radius of each other...... So it would depend on what YOU are looking for.

Do you want to be trained by authentic Brazilians or others trained by Brazilians?
Do you want to be taught by Black Belts or blues and purples under a black that may never come around?
Do you want instructors with proven track records with competative Jiu Jitsu, or do you strictly want to train for self defense?
How many other academies are available to you?
Do you want an MMA experience or just BJJ?
I hope this helps.

Whats nice with our place is one black belt is 230lbs and is a top player, where the other black belt is about 185lbs and is a bottom player. We get tendencies from both ways from these two instructors. Good Stuff.
