Herschel Walker and Bobby Lashley fought people that they shouldn't be fight. Especially Lashley. A lot of the fights in Strikeforce: Miami were stopped early due to terrible referees. What the hell was the referee pausing the Nick Diaz/Zaromskis fight for?
UFC 109 had an amazing upset with Marquart/Sonnen. Matt Serra had a nice first round knockout of Frank Trigg. Demian Maia got back to his winning ways. Paulo Thiago had an amazing submission of Mike Swick. I'm always excited about a Randy Couture fight.
The Robbie Lawler ko was amazing, better than Serra's even. Nick Diaz is always entertaining. And I enjoy watching two chicks in the octagon as much as the next guy, but the freakshow fights and the terrible refs couldn't rise Strikeforce: Miami above UFC 109. Still a good card though.

Miami had bigger skill missmatches, making for some interesting fights. But the quality of 109 was better.

"I’ve been asked if it’s been difficult finding workout partners like my opponent who is 280 pounds with 4-percent body fat and gasses-out after 45-seconds. Yeah, my workout partners don’t usually gas-out after 45-seconds."
The greatest fights are made between the most competitive opponents. I believe that between these two organizations, the UFC has displayed the competition between fighters of the closest competitive edge. I think the winners of Strikeforce Miami showed the distinct advantage of superior game over their opponents that the winners of UFC did not show. The beauty of mixed martial arts is such that the competitors all start on the same playing field and have the same distinct goals. When the level of competition is obvious between two organizations, the ultimate result is that the dominant organization will have the best competition between its best competitors.

c´mon guys, UFC 109 to me was boring and dull....The main event fight was two fighters at the end of their career with no possible shot again at the title. Also UFC 109 had no really imrpessive fighters or fighters that I was looking forward to watching, SF did....for me it was SF all the way.
Also, i was way more hyped up for the SF fights than I was for the UFC fights before hand, so that says a lot.
sf miami was much better but with that being said only becuse ufc 109 was shitty... compare it to 110
