m1/fedor makes up a different excuse each time they negotiate with the ufc. why would the ufc give a shit deal to the only realistic thorn in their side? zuffa has a retarded amount of money so 5mil per fight for 6 fights is pocket change to zuffa

it's been reported by a few sources that fedor was offered the 5mil per fight. we dont officially know because m1 and the ufc arent going to talk about the details of their negotiations which is why i said "if the ufc's offer to fedor was really 5million per fight PLUS a % of the ppv buys..." once again, 30mil to zuffa is nothing

also the main event status fighters usually get a % of the ppv buys so lesnar made a shit ton more than 400,000. here is an interesting article i found:

this is assuming lesnar's deal with the ufc is the same as couture. there is no way in hell fedor is currently making more money at strikeforce than he would in the ufc. it will take an act of god for strikeforce to be able to seriously compete with the ufc where the money is: ppv sales

its because they arent morons. it would be exactly like walmart giving dollar general store space to sell their items, then giving dollar general a % of the entire store's total profits

there is a huge difference between giving m1/fedor 5mil+ per fight and giving them a % of the total revenue generated from the event: revenue from ticket sales, a higher ppv sales %, merchandise sold at the event, endorsements/advertisement, plus m1 would be a more recognizable name if the ufc and m1 copromoted. why would the ufc help out a direct competitor?

5mil+ per fight = short term
co-promotion = long term

I am sure Mr. Rogers is training like never before. I commend him for this. This will make him rich and well known even more than possible. I hope Mr. Rogers has some luck but i do not think he will win. Any heavyweight professional MMA fighter on this level could win a fight against Fedor or anyone else with enough training. Fedor is in a league of his own and he has everything stacked against him. I think he will win quickly if he is on top of his game. Not sure how fast Mr. Rogers is but he needs speed more than anything else. He has enough power if he can hit Fedor. Rogers can win if he can hit Fedor with fast and accurate punches. Do not get Fedor on the ground or it will be over. I don't think anyone at this stage can beat Fedor on the ground. I believe Machida could give Fedor a tough fight if he keeps it on top. i dont think they gave him 5mil+ per fight even if they can afford it,he is no1 and all but guy like randy is more popular and i dont see any reason why should guy who gets them less ppv and less money get bigger paycheck then more popular one who gets double the money for them.

The reason Fedor didn't sign with the UFC is because they wouldn't let him do his Sambo matches on the side, which he loves to do.. so he told Dana to go fuck himself.
