Its going to take a really explosive takedown artist with good ground control to beat Lyoto. I don't think Shogun has it. Lyoto for the win.

I hope he can atleast hit machida.
Never seen machida taking a decent punch tough, so don't know how his chin is. Ofcourse hitting him won't be easy...
Shogun Rua!!!
I think Machida takes a few good shots in the Sokoujou fight. I don't remember them really rocking machida at all. However, I smoke way too much weed and I could be wrong... but I think I'm right.

machidas gonna knock shogun out if he tries to open up on, hes too fast for him, the only hope he has is out muscle him on the ground, which aint happenin either.
machida by KO/Submission take your pick

you guys really givin up on shogun that easy???!!! im takin shogun with a flashy kick combo k.o. machida is a monster but he's never fought any1 this aggressive.
1 other thing this fight will not goto the cards ill bet money on it shogun hates decisions and will put himself in harms way to get the ko or submission before goint to the cards

too many dreamers on this fight. are people voting on who they want to win or who they think will win??
based on their last two RECENT fights, machida made two undefeated fighters look like amateurs and shogun beat on two old guys. im guessing everyone is seeing those as tune up fights and is hoping that shogun peaks during this fight?
if im betting the house on this fight, i sure as hell wouldnt bet on shogun
