i think it has something to do with cutting off the blood flow really fast has the same effect as a perfect shot to the jaw.

i saw one of my friends fall to his knees after my other buddy slapped him in the neck with a small bag of pepperoni.
it was hilarious kus he was in the middle of a match in halo.
