Shogun lands cleaner hits, not luck and in the first fight he landed more clean leg and body kicks on Machida than he has likely thrown his entire career. Yes its an exaggeration but the point is he dismantled Machida.

Firstly, people that pull the luck card are out of their mind. These guys train and train and train for this. They come in and throw bombs. One of his bombs landed on Machida's on/off button. The .gif I posted is, in fact, the only one that matters. As you said, the first fight should've been a draw. I agree (either that or a Shogun victory). However, in the must-win round system in the UFC, it is highly improbable for a draw to occur. So, in the second fight, somebody got knocked the fuck out, as seen here:


Doesn't look to me like Shogun's eyes are closed or he's blindfolded and was searching around for Machida in the ring and swung and knocked him out. That'd be luck.



Next point to be made, it has been scientifically proven that Rampage hits harder than just about any fighter. Just for comparison's sake, Rampage's punch measured at 1800 PSI. Chuck's measured in at 1200 PSI. PAGE SMASHES PEOPLE. So, I don't really know the point you were trying to make here. I think it was that Rampage's KO of Wanderlei was lucky. Either way, you're a rookie to MMA if you still believe in that. Furthermore, this thread was obviously made by a biased Machida fan. You're obviously a biased Machida fan.

That's why the crowd was in an uproar at the decision, Dana apologised for judges and set up re-match strait away, all because Machida clearly won... Machida was dismantled, he likely couldn't walk for days after the fight and had took so many kicks to the body his sides were glowing.
