Well hate to be a buzz kill if your just getting out of the time machine, but machida is the mma machine at the moment. Sure Brock is by far bigger stronger, and possibly as fast but who cares but that if were comparing overall skill. I think this guy could break Anderson S. winning streak, not just because he's half Japanese but he is an amazing fighter. Shogun either by UD or TKO the guy is gonna keep his belt because he's a great fighter and becuase Mr. White needs a LHW to market as the champ.

Oops I meant to say Machida by UD or TKO, sorry about that.

What the hell, Machida is a favorite, I did want him to win by total arse kicking! not get chased and tagged for 25 minutes and then slide some of those judges some dough and call it a night!

Then Machida doesn't want to admit it could have been a draw or even a split decision that could have favored Shogun. No way he's acting all hot headed and arrogant. Those favoring Shogun I've gotta give you guys cred for stickin by your champ, he destroyed Machida. There were some rounds that were pretty close but at the end of the fight the Dragon had been slain, his legs were redder than a stop sign and his ribs were pink and bruised badly. My bro lost plain and simple. At least there might be someone else out there now who can stop the spiders winning streak

Funninly enough none of them are trained judges, none of them were ringside, and all of them listened to the biased commentary.

shogun should have won that fight it was obvious. he landed way more than machida and cut him up. They gave that fight to machida. Shogun landed way more kicks than machida's punches or kicks. Even Joe Rogan and the fans knew shogun deserved that win.

shogun landed 2 punches and leg kicks the rest of the fight, machida punched and kicked repeatedly hell im not saying shogun dont deserve a rematch but u cant win a title without dropping the guy or at least kicking his legs out from under him shogun couldnt do it 2 and a half rounds each they both fought like girls compared to there other fights. i think its because they were friends prior to the fight

More like they were not blind, bias, retarded or crooked. Face it Machida nut huggers, your boy lost, period. Huge majority of fans, experts and most of all FIGHTERS said he lost and shogun won. Of all of those fighters count the most, not your crooked judges who came from judgin boxing anyways and never saw inside of the cage to begin with.

Since when you have to drop any1 to take his belt? All you have to do is fight better and shogun did just that.

Lets turn it around now, you shouldnt be able to defend your title by not pressing the fight, doing way less damage and landing about half of strikes your oponent landed. And Machida did just that.

Everyone could cry and bitch as much as you'd like, the decision will still stand. I, like the rest of the world except for the only people that mattered (the judges) had Shogun winning 48-47, but it was a close fight. I just hope that MMA will start to see that it needs it's own identity and gets out of the boxing scoring system. What else do we expect when it's a boxing commission, boxing judges and there's money involved? I am also a huge boxing fan, but as I've said b4 I am starting to see the same problems in MMA that are in boxing. You leave it in the hands of the judges and you never know what may happen, or which wheels got greased.

2 of my favorite fighters, but Shogun should have been more dominant in order to get this belt...Too close for a title change in my opinion!

It is really hard to fight machida
