I have to disagree.

I counted about seven punches from CC in round 1 about seven in round two and actually about 9 in the duration of round 3.

In my opinion CC has nothing to offer anyone, cro cop looked like a total amateur compared to JDS, if you didn't know who CC was you would just think hey this JDS guy has been given a journeyman to get through in his UFC debut.

CC looked average at best.

He was backpedaling the whole fight and when they engage all he did was push Dos Santos away. No combos set up by mirko farout.

I am BIG fun of CroCop, and I will always be.. But, it's time to retire!

JDS was just too much for him.Ive followed CC for a while but i think he should consider his options.. im not saying that means retiring from MMA, but maybe his place isnt in the UFC.. very sad but it happens

Very very disapointing fight from cro cop. He made it easy for dos santos not countering at all. Dos Santos let his hands go and the chlinch game was perfect. Although mirko is my favorite fighter of all, he has really disapointed me...

Mirko looked like a slug. He's done. Dos santos just might be the next big thing.

Wow... and Mirko wants a rematch with Fedor? He must be very delusional about his abilities nowadays. Sad to say, but I found myself arguing with the T.V. during the fight. I just don't get it! Like I said before, it's do or die for Mirko, and now the opportunity is blown. He'll never be champion in the UFC, I believe. However, Dos Santos wasn't exactly impressive either. Terrible, uneventful, disappointing fight.

Pretty much exactly how I feel, I used to think CC was the man!!! but he just looked rubbish in this fight, he just seemed to get tagged a couple times hard and it just took everything away from him.

His hands used to be hard and fast and so were his kicks, now all he seems to do is keep his hands up and push and try for the awesome kick.

Shame to watch such a fight.

However, JDS looked great here eh! strong fighter didn't look too tired dodged well, good aggression.... looks like he might have a god wee carreer in the UFC. How is his ground game?.

Mirko just doesn't have the intensity he used to have back in pride, that's what helped him win so many times in the past. You can see the guys he fights now waiting to get smashed with leg kicks and hit hard but when they see it not coming they go for the kill and cro crop goes down. I think any chance of him getting near any big fights or title shots are gone, he will be lucky to get to fight again in the ufc.

crocops boxing and footwork are worthless these days...he has no defense at all. i always said he's the most onesided fighter there is...he's got a high left kick and a straight left. nothing else. and now, when he's a lot slower than he was in pride...he should just quit fighting...

Sad to say, obviously you can't stop the time. At least JDS proved good striker, maybe enough to crack some ribs of vitamine-Lesnar.

At first I thought Filipovic might win this one after seeing him winning over HMC, unfortunately he did not. There should be some 35 years and up title, he is simply too battle worn.

Maybe he will prove me wrong, I thought Aerts is over four years ago and he is still on top, but I do not think CroCop is the case.

At least he can fight Couture and other veterans, Nogueira can still compete with young heavyweights.

It seems that several fighters are about to finish now, a whole generation indeed. I'm a bit worried about Fedor Rodgers fight. If Filipovic is over while at one time he was only serious match up for Emalienko (+ Nog), will there be a big shock for all at Strikeforce?

Desperation groin kick couldn't even change the fight, I bet Crop wishes he'd have saved the eye poke for Santos.
