great fight

All the links for the videos are broken in my web browser. What plug in or codec do I need to view them? I see the ad videos but not the fights themselves.

Usually Nate doesnt get taken down so his guard is never used. People are saying his guard is terrible, but he did hit 2 close guillotines and a sick elbow. But he needed to stand back up which he couldn't do.

I agree 100%, his guard wasn't bad. If you were judging the fight by damage not octagon control Nate would've won. Sonnen didn't do shit but lay on him and control him while landing pussy ass ground and pound. Nate went for subs and cut Sonnen early and did more effective striking on the feet too.

Marquardt really had much luck against Demian...

Another boring ass wrestler with LnP, I think Vitor will knock Sonnen out before he can take him down and anderson will likely submit him, but hopefully not before landing some hard hits because Sonnen is a fucking tool. Although Nate couldn't really stop the wrestling he did well on his back, landing a brutal elbow and trying for a few submissions, had he had a bit more gas in the tank at the end I bet he would of finished with that guillotine and I would of been a happy man.

I was rooting for Nate but you can't take anything from Chael. He completely dominated Nate with very active grappling and GnP. He hardly did any LnP. I was really impressed although sad Nate lost.

This was an excellent fight. I was really impressed by Chael Sonnen's performance.

Watch the end of the second round and the entire third round again. he LnP on Nate for almost half that fight. He needs to work on his cardio because I don't think he will last more than 2 rounds with Anderson or Vitor with the stamina he has now.

well i stand corrected lol, guess i shoulda looked up a few more of chael's more recent fights to see if he'd improved at all before i just wrote him off like that, i had no idea marquardt's guard and takedown defense was so weak, those are some pretty damn big wholes in his game bein at the level of competition he's in, how the hell do you train with GSP and Rashad Evans and under the great GREG JACKSON and not have solid wrestling skill? there's just no reason Nate shouldn't have been prepared for this kinda fight lol it's sickening if you ask me............. well kudos to Sonnen, he did what he had to do to win, not that it's gonna make one lick of difference once he steps into the ring with silva (IMO i think sonnen would stand a decent chance against Belfort given he's able to pull the same strategy he just did to Nate, Belfort has shown great weakness to wrestlers and gnp in the past..... Belfort vs Ortiz, Belfort vs Couture, look em up

i thought marquardt would win this, but sonnen surprised me
it was definately the best fight of the night
very intensiv fight with two great competitors

this lost fight from nate... makes hendo look so much better as a contender with andrson...
