would have preferred more of a stand up fight. though that said kongo did what he needed to salvage his career quick which worked well.

I didn't think he would win mostly by taking the fat opponent down. I really thought he would stand throw bombs. I think he wants everyone to know he also has a bit of ground game.

Very nice win for Kongo. He's trying to prove to everyone he's working on his ground game after two straight losses to opponents who beat him on the ground. Its always good to see fighters improve, but it wasn't the fight I expected.

this was a terrible match-up made to make Kongo look good or break him by the off chance that he would lose. All Paul is is a boxer right? what else was he even known for?

Buentello was never that good in my eyes, mate hypes him up a bit tho. I guess he has that '1' hit power but so do alot of blokes, these guys dont bring much to MMA and will always lose to experienced true mix martial artists. BTW.. Kongo's ground game is shit but hes showing he does have 'some'. Though would of preferred to see a standup war and maybe Kongo use takedowns in his next fight. Surprise factor will be gone. Kongo is delaying the inevidable, haha nah UFC will prob keep him.
Bad luck on tapping to elbows in turtle pos.. he had his finger put back into place, but the taps evened that out. So that + another shitty performance = LATERRRRRR.
