It could very easily go either way, definitely Machida if it goes the decision, but both could definitely get KO/TKO's, Rashad if he lands a big punch, Lyoto if he frustrates Rashad enough to get openings, then he'll move in for the kill.

I've underestimated and bet against Lyoto Machida long enough, he is quickly becoming one of my top 5 fighters, he is very impressive to watch, I don't care what anyone else says, War Machida.

Yeah goin in there like a wild baboon on LCD he might get a good blast, and we all know if he connects hard even someone like Machida will go down. However, Lyoto is a master of the sport and if you've seen his fights he takes very little damage and seems to be able to predict exactly what is opponents will do. I think Machida will strike precisely and win as oppose to Rashad's drunken loon style of fighting, but we will only know for sure May 23.

what u guys dont realize about rashad is that he is the type of fighter that adapts quickly to his opponents style from round 1 .. and rashad knows very well the style and mindset that machida embraces cause he watched all his fights .. i see this fight going 3 rounds with the outcome being in favor of evans!

And the whole "If Fighter A, beats fighter B and Fighter C didn't or couldn't beat fighter B" argument is stupid and is of no relevance to the fight between fighters A and C.
