well at this point what is there to say really? this fight is as almost as big of a disgrace as the shamrock/slice fight... i don't usually post anything on this site cuz i learned a long time ago reading some of the deuschbags' (that have a lot to say about what they obviously know little to nothing about) replies that no matter what you say on this site will eventually turn into pointless, rambling, immature, and sadly pathetic gibberish about shit that has nothing to do with the fight... but what i will say is this is just a classic example of how far someone can get with a lot of publicity, money, and good agents because in no way whatsoever does lesnar deserve to be in the same room as randy couture, letalone get a TITLE SHOT! last time i remembered u had to earn your shot for the belt by defeating most all other contenders but somehow that changed i guess, that being said i suppose this could turn out to be an entertaining fight, i mean RANDY COUTURE, 45 yet still unbelievably strong and athletic, current heavyweight and former light-heavyweight champion, one of the greatest mma fighters to ever walk the earth and my idle taking on BROCK LESNAR, a young, extremely strong and quick national college champion wrestler who is a giant in every sense of the word, its set up to be exciting and even though i think its a disgrace i'll be eagerly watching for Randy to beat Brock in every aspect of the sport we call MIXED MARTIAL ARTS,

It's ridiculous that these 2 are even fighting in the first place... surely lesnar is just a completely different size from Couture? Couture's natural weight is that of a light heavyweight, 205lb, whereas lesnar's is 265lb - (super heavyweight). Although there's no superheavy in UFC, in boxing a superheavy is 265lb and over. The 60lb weight difference means you could liken the fight to a that of featherweight (for example say Urijah Faber) versus a lightheavy, say Griffin. Lesnar Couture seems equally unjust to me. There needs to be a new weight division - Super Heavyweight. Lesnar's victory, ( and I am certain he will win) will be down to A) being a great deal more massive and B) being physically (in terms of muscularity) at his peak, compared to his rival, whose muscular-bodymass ratio has been decreasing for the last 15 years.

Well aside from talking shit about every one on the site.... I agree with you. In no way does Brock Lesner deserve to be close to a shot at the title. ( Thanks Dana for rendering the title meaningless!!) I do think that it will be an emotionally charged fight. Being that this tells you what is still inside of Couture. Randy's a fucking stud man. I think he punched his way out of his mothers va-jay-jay War Couture...
