Prediction - Anton Tabuena: Considering all the crazy momentum and hype Overeem got on his UFC debut, it's funny how they're now giving him one of the easiest (and justifiable) ways to get a UFC win for such a high profile fighter. You can all talk about his silly weight loss issues, or how he has looked like a sub-par striker for a K-1 Champ lately, but none of that will matter because this is as close to a squash match as you will ever get at this level. This is just a stylistic nightmare for Mir, and he will get trucked. Badly. Alistair Overeem by KO.

Prediction - Zane Simon: Lamas is super solid, but the main cracks in Jose Aldo's game seem to be his own injury woes, and fighters that can out hustle him for five rounds. I'm not hearing anything about Aldo suffering any camp injuries and Lamas while a great fighter, doesn't strike me as the "limitless endurance type." Eventually, I could see this looking a lot like the Aldo vs. Mendes fight, just stretched out a bit. Jose Aldo via KO, round 3.

Prediction - Tim Burke: This is my favorite fight on the card. Lineker's gas tank will be his biggest issue. And I believe that Lineker lacks an iron chin as well - Jose Maria tagged him pretty hard. The more I analyze the fight, the more I lean toward Bagautinov. He can take Lineker down, he hits really hard, and he's probably faster. He'll probably get rocked early, but he'll hold on and take a FOTN decision. Ali Bagautinov by decision.

Prediction - Mookie Alexander: Varner is a bad match-up for Trujillo, in my opinion. Or at least,Varner is way better than Roger Bowling and Marcus LeVesseur. Varner had a real bad run towards the end of the WEC and on the regional scene, but he's picked himself back up and has been competitive and/or victorious in all of his UFC bouts, and I think he'll continue his turnaround here. Prediction - Tim Burke: Not sure why they brought Enz back to be honest. You'd think Hester would be getting stronger opponents at least. Cliff Hester by TKO, round 2 Mookie Alexander: Andy's in the UFC. That's where his fortunes come to an Enz. Clint Hester by KO, round 3.

Prediction - Tim Burke: Patrick has the ability to make this a really ugly fight because Makdessi doesn't deal well with people pressuring him or getting him against the fence. That's what gives me major hang-ups here. I'll lean Makdessi, but I wouldn't be surprised at all by a Patrick decision. John Makdessi by decision.

Cariaso vs Martinez

Prediction - Mookie Alexander: Danny Martinez beats up nobodies and loses to anyone good. That's clear-cut. He's lost to Formiga, Hominick, and Benavidez and has not beaten any notable fighter in his career. Two of his last three fights came against guys making their pro debut. Cariaso isn't a contender at 125 but he's at least earned the role of gatekeeper and he'll have no problems with Martinez. Chris Cariaso by decision.

Prediction - Tim Burke: I'm calling the upset here. Lee is a great prospect and I just never really saw a lot in Iaquinta. I think he's decent and his win over Piotr Hallmann surprised me, but I think Lee can catch him with a big shot early and either finish by TKO or switch to a quick sub and get the finish that way. Prediction - Zane Simon: Once again, I'm not exactly sure what's going on here. Magomedov was a champion for M-1. He's a seasoned vet who should be able to jump into the middle of the lightweight division and compete right away. Tony Martin is a hulk (who I believe used to fight at middleweight) and he's got a crushing top sub game, but he's young and as a silky smooth counter striker Magomedov is made to wait on his mistakes and pick him apart. I don't really see what the UFC gets out of this except giving Magomedov a win on his way into the promotion and a chance to look good doing it. Rashid Magomedov by UD.

Prediction - Tim Burke: If Umalatov is a mediocre grappler as Zane says, Magny might have a chance here since his only real outstanding skill is wrestling. But still...I'm going with the newbie. Gasan Umalatov by TKO, round 2

Prediction: Fraser Coffeen: I like Thomson, and think he is frequently underrated. Were this indeed Thomson vs. Pettis, I might consider the upset. But Bendo is a bad match-up for him. What's worse is the "worst camp of my life" talk from Thomson. That's the sound of a guy who has already mentally prepared himself to lose, and Henderson will be happy to oblige. Prediction: Anton Tabuena: Tough pick. Miocic should have the skills to pull it off, but Gonzaga has looked great since returning to the UFC, especially with him mixing up his striking and grappling well as of late. I think Miocic is a justifiable favorite, but I'm going with the upset and picking Gonzaga to continue his streak. Gabriel Gonzaga by TKO.

Prediction: Tim Burke: Lil' Heathen has looked pretty good at featherweight so far, but Elkins is about to pull off the grinder special on him. I'm really surprised he's getting so little love by the rest of the staff. Darren Elkins by decision.

Prediction: Mookie Alexander: A Martins win would tell us a lot about both fighters. He would assert himself as a top 15 guy while Cerrone's last gasp at a title run goes to pieces. Cerrone should be able to win the striking battle and he's definitely a lot more savvy on the ground than Daron Cruickshank. This feels like a gimme for Cerrone just because Martins doesn't have name value, but I think Martins will put up a good fight and come up just short in the end. Prediction: Iain Kidd: Krylov is going to win this fight, and be UFC HW champion by the end of 2014. Probably LHW champion by the end of 2015. Soa landed a lucky shot in that first fight, and we'll be talking about that result the way we talk about TK beating Fedor. Literally nothing I just said is true, but i'm still picking him to win because both guys are going to gas out and swing haymakers, and I feel like Krylov might just hit slightly harder.

Prediction: Tim Burke: Workin' hard to get my fill. Everybody wants a thrill. Payin' anything to roll the dice. Just one more time. Some will win (Cruickshank). Some will lose (Rio). Some were born to sing the blues (Tito Ortiz).

Prediction: Zane Simon: If I had to make a career prediction I'd say it's very likely that both these guys experience a Ivan Menjivar/Yves Jabouin like career of hanging around and putting on a lot of fun fights without ever turning the corner into a title threat. Meza was the victim of a terrible debut matchup when he stepped in to fight Chad Mendes on short notice. He lost, quickly, but of course he did. Meza looked way better in his second offering, down a weight class, where he submitted John Albert. Camus has been up and down a bit as well, beating Dustin Pague and Kyung Ho Kang, but losing to Dustin Kimura. I honestly think that Meza's size and submission savvy could put Camus in trouble here again, but I wouldn't be surprised whatever the outcome. This should be a fun fight of scrambling and back and forth action. Yaotzin Meza by submission, Round 2.

Caceres vs Pettis

Prediction: Tim Burke: I used to make fun of Caceres a lot, saying that his submission defense was so bad that he could drop to amoebaweight and he'd still get submitted by a virus. But I have to be fair - he's looked pretty good at 135, and I like this fight. I think Pettis is too well-rounded for him overall though. Sergio Pettis by submission, round 2

Interesting: Johnson has won his last 5 straight with 3 of the contests ending by (T)KO. His bout with Kyle will see him return to the light-heavyweight division as he last defeated former UFC heavyweight champion Andre Arlovski back in March. Kyle, who will be making his promotional debut, is coming of a 5 stretch fight of 2 wins, 2 losses, and 1 no contest. His last fight saw him KO Travis Wiuff back in May.

Rockhold vs Philippou

Prediction: Mookie Alexander: I think Philippou's power, while certainly there, is vastly overrated. He's got one clean KO to his name in the UFC (vs. Jared Hamman, whose striking defense is just not there), and the other TKO was the Tim Boetsch mess. Don't get me wrong, he's shown really good boxing in the past, but as a KO artist he's not there. Rockhold is a better overall striker, grappler, and is just a better all-around fighter. Maybe it's me, but I don't really see this being competitive. I'm a big believer in Rockhold and "meh" on Philippou, and Rockhold will get the win. Luke Rockhold by TKO, round 4.

Prediction: Mookie Alexander: I really do not enjoy most Mike Easton fights. The Brad Pickett fight was definitely fun, but when is Brad Pickett not fun? Dillashaw was competitive with a top 10 guy in Raphael Assuncao and had a case for a decision win, alas he fell short in Brazil. I think Dillashaw has already surpassed Easton in terms of skill, and he'll dominate him tomorrow night.T.J. Dillashaw by unanimous decision.

Moraga vs Ortiz

Prediction: Connor Ruebusch: John Moraga is difficult for me to read. He's shown fantastic boxing at times, and terrible boxing at others. He's shown brilliant grappling at times, but it's difficult for me to shake the four and a half rounds of wrestling and jiu jitsu schooling he received from the flyweight champ. He also faced his first loss in a long time last time out, and he's returning against an unexpected early-UFC-career standout in Dustin Oritz. Still, I have trouble seeing exactly where Ortiz beats Moraga, and if we do get a chance to see some of that slick boxing in the pocket, Moraga should take this. John Moraga by Unanimous Decision.

PREDICTION: Once again, I'm willing to assume I'm crazy in picking a big underdog. Potts is one of those fighters who's rightfully been off almost everyone's radar. His record is unexciting, his early fight footage is pretty uninspiring, he's just not a heavyweight to light a fire for most. But he has a very powerful, sharp kicking game, and a really sweet judo grappling game that he translates into a nice, powerful ground game as well. There's every possibility that Palelei just sits in the middle of the ring like some immovable behemoth and crushes him with a big right hand, but I'm going to pick the more dynamic, skilled fighter to come out and surprise people. Especially given that Palelei's favored position is really in close with dirty boxing and top control, I think that will play right into Potts' Judo trips and throws. Ruan Potts by Submission, Round 1.

Dillashaw vs Easton

Prediction: Connor Ruebusch: Dillashaw is coached by Duane Ludwig. Mike Easton is coached by Lloyd Irvin. I would rather see Ludwig get a win any day than see Irvin achieve even the smallest bit of success. T.J. Dillashaw by Emotional Pick.

Brunson vs Romero

Prediction: Connor Ruebusch: These two men were set to fight each other once before, but things didn't work out. Then, they both fought on last years Fight for the Troops event, each securing an impressive finish. Brunson's last loss was a KO defeat against Jacare Souza after the BJJ phenom began taking his striking seriously. Romero, in turn, was knocked out by Feijao who, despite some inconsistent performances, is a very dangerous striker. Both Brunson and Romero are decorated wrestlers, but Romero has the more impressive record by far, capped off with an Olympic silver medal. All the same, Brunson has shown better submission savvy when it comes to MMA, while Romero has transformed entirely into a striker. This really is a difficult pick to make. Uhm... Yoel Romero by TKO, I guess, round 2.

Prediction: I can't add much here that hasn't already been said, except that I will say that apart from the KO win over Te Huna, which was very good, Shogun also looked in better shape than I feel like I'd seen him in in a long time (maybe since Machida). If he can keep form I think he still has the speed behind his power to make short work of Hendo. If he slips back into his normal cardio drained self, this becomes much more of a tossup. Shogun, KO, Round 1.

Prediction - Tim Burke: I really have to believe that Silva will take this a little more seriously than he did last time. We can all debate the reasons behind why he was dicking around, but the end result was him losing his consciousness. I think he opens up his striking a little more early, and he ends up hurting Weidman in the second and finishing him. Anderson Silva via TKO, round 2

Prediction - T.P. Grant: While popular opinion has swung against Ronda, it is highly unlikely Tate has closed the huge gap in grappling between them. In their first fight Ronda took Tate down at will, took whatever position she wanted, and lost only one scramble where Tate momentarily took her back. Other than that brief span of time Tate was in pure survival mode the entire fight. Different level of athlete, different level of grapper. Ronda Rousey by Submission (armbar) 3:55, Round 1.

Barnett vs Browne

Tim Burke: Browne is a really athletic guy with a good chin. Barnett holds a lot of advantages coming in though, and it's his fight to lose. He can play it safe in the grappling department or make a fight of it. Personally I think he gets to mount and just plays with Browne for a while. Josh Barnett by decision.

Tim Burke: This should be Hall's all the way. Leben is a shell of the guy that used to put the stamp on kids. But Hall seems to have zero killer instinct when there are more than seven fans in the crowd. If he doesn't show up, even Chris Leben will be able to outstrike him. I say the pressure is too much for Hall and Zombie Leben staves off unemployment. Chris Leben by decision.

Zane Simon: Honestly, I can't believe that Camoes is still in the UFC, and I'm not altogether sure why. Saying that, he has no business being in the cage with Jim Miller. This isn't quite Mendes vs. McKenzie bad, but it's right there with Edson Barboza vs. Rafaello Oliveira. Jim Miller by TKO Round 1.

Brandao vs Poirier

Tim Burke: I see a couple of things differently than my colleagues below. One is that I don't see Poirier's striking defense to be that great at all, and it's almost a given that Brandao is going to catch him early (even if it's not pretty). The other is the idea about Brandao's tank. From what I've seen, he's learned a lot about not going all-out early and seems to be able to go a lot deeper in fights. Poirier is definitely going to test that though. I'm honestly not sure where to go with this. Logic says Poirier, but I'm going the opposite way. Diego Brandao by decision.

T.P. Grant: How to fight like Gleison Tibau: Step 1: cut a ton of weight, Step 2: Bully your way inside, Step 3: pick up opponent, Step 4: slam him, Step 5: hold him down for about a minute, Step 6: Attack with a guillotine when he escapes to the feet that has no chance of being finished, Step 7: Repeat Steps 2-6 until gassing in the third round. It isn't perfect, but Tibau has overpowered pretty much everyone that isn't an upperlevel fighter, and Johnson will likely fall victim to it. Gleison Tibau by Tibau Decision.

Zane Simon: I'd really like to see Bobby Voelker win this. He's one of my favorite brawlers, a guy who really throws caution to the wind and looks to blast his opponent into a violent slumber. Macario has that same potential, but he seems a lot less adept in his basic techniques. The power is there and this fight could get pretty hairy for Voelker, but I think Voelker will find Macario's chin first and end it. Bobby Voelker by KO, Round 2.

Bahadurzada vs Howard

Fraser Coffeen: I like both of these guys, and am looking forward to this one. Siyar has the greater potential for violence and big wins in the division, but I see this as a bad stylistic match-up for him. Siyar's best weapon is a big KO, but Howard is far too slick on the feet to let that happen. Instead, this will be a 15 minute stand-up grind - and that absolutely favors Howard, not Siyar. Whose Stock Will Rise? Whose Will Fall?
If he picks up a legitimate win over a seven-division champion, Bradley's stock can't help but rise. Most people have him among the top 10 or even five best fighters in the world, and a clear win here will push him up to the next tier below only Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Andre Ward. Pacquiao's stock will, by definition, fall, but losing a close one to a legitimate elite fighter certainly won't erase all he's already accomplished. Marcus "Conan" Silveira (ATT Head Coach) awarded Lombard with a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu following his victory at CFC 12.

Matt Brown vs. Erick Silva PREDICTION: Honestly, outside of a really terrible fight against Don Hyun Kim, I feel like what I've seen most out of Erick Silva is the explosive infighter. Certainly he's had a couple KOs that have been too fast to draw a meaningful conclusion beyond "dude can wreck other dudes," but even his loss to John Fitch showed an Erick Silva that was looking to immediately close distance and out-grapple his opponent. I expect that's the Silva we'll see in this fight, and it's an Erick Silva that can and should submit Matt Brown. Of course, if he decides to fight like he did against Dong Hyun, then he'll get KOd and probably a lot quicker. Erick Silva by Submission, Round 1.

Bellator tries to march forward with it's first attempt at pay-per-view, albeit without the main event they really wanted to push. With the concussion suffered by Eddie Alvarez, the trilogy fight opposite Michael Chandler was forced to be put on hold. Still, the event continues and the grudge match between Rampage Jackson and Mo Lawal now serves as the main event. Chandler is still on the card, but he'll face Will Brooks for the Bellator interim lightweight championship. UFC Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz is also on the main card where he'll square off against Bellator middleweight champion Alexander Shlemenko in a light heavyweight bout.

Prediction - Iain Kidd: Faber has improved dramatically since these two first met at UFC 149, while Barao hasn't improved at quite the same pace. That might sound like advantage Faber, but the truth is Barao was so much better than Urijah first time around that he should still be able to comfortably defeat him here as well.
