Interesting: Ward was born and raised in Waterford, Connecticut. He competed in wrestling at Waterford High School, graduating in 2006, before continuing his career at Johnson & Wales University, which has a Division III program. At Johnson & Wales, Ward demonstrated his talents, earning All-American honors and was also the runner-up in the nation for his weight class, after winning the New England title.

Prediction: While both men have seen better days, I think that Henderson might be further down the hill. He's 43 years old, has lost 3 straight, and was stopped for the first time in his career. Not that any man would've been able to eat that TRiTor headkick, but his reflexes seemed to have slowed, and his fighting style have slowly changed toward favoring that single H-Bomb that it now makes him very predictable. Apart from that brief KO over Te Huna, Shogun hasn't looked remotely good since his 2011 win over Forrest. That being said, their first fight went back and forth three years ago, so I am more inclined to pick the guy who is a decade younger and at least has shown some flashes of his old self since then. Shogun by TKO.

Prediction: If CB wins this does he become the lineal TUF Brazil champion? I don't really see anything special in Mutante's game to suggest he's anything special, so he's not worlds apart from Dollaway to me. It'll probably be a close fight, mostly contested through some kickboxing, and Dollaway will get the edge on the cards. CB Dollaway by decision.

Lahat vs Pepey

Prediction: The betting lines strongly favor Lahat, who's currently somewhere around -250. Pepey's UFC run has been drastically underwhelming - he's 1-3 and should be 0-4 - which seems to be the explanation for his underdog status, and this should be his last shot. A lot of people are really high on Lahat; my response would be that he's beaten terrible competition on the regional scene, but then again, so did Pepey. I'll go with the favorite here. Lahat, unanimous decision.

Santos vs Markes

Prediction: Markes is a bulldozer of a fighter who's only recent loss comes to the surging talent that is Yoel Romero. Santos is... the guy he's about to bulldoze. I doubt we see a stoppage, because that's not Markes' game, so to that end Santos should get a lot of chances to make something happen. But, he won't. Ronny Markes by Unanimous Decision.

Perpetuo vs Robertson

Prediction: Perpetuo was involved in one hell of a barnburner against Omari Akhmedov last time out, and that showed us both the best and the worst of his game: big power, excellent Muay Thai, decent wrestling, and some seriously underwhelming defense. I don't think Robertson is really the guy to exploit those flaws, especially given what should be a substantial size advantage for Perpetuo. Perpetuo, KO, round 2.

Prediction: Siler is definitely a live dog here and I'm tempted to pick the upset, but Jason is probably going to work his superior ground game towards a stoppage. Rony Badger, submission, round 1.

Prediction: Jorgensen has declined considerably and while he has an obvious advantage in power and stand-up, I think Formiga has what it takes to get him on the ground and outgrapple him over the duration of the bout. Jussier Formiga by decision.

Prediction: The only real question here is whether Taisumov can stuff Prazeres' takedowns. If you think he can, then he's the pick; if not, then it should be Prazeres' fight to lose. I think the former is more likely. Taisumov, unanimous decision.

Prediction: Condit might just be the most well rounded guy in the division. His adaptive striking has been blowing my mind for his past couple of fights. His ability to land a punch, elbow, knee or kick from any angle at any time makes him a nightmare for straight line strikers. Jessica Andrade vs. Raquel Pennington Fight Video Prediction - Andrade appeared to be channeling the spirit of Wanderlei's youth when she beat the tar out of Rosie Sexton back at UFC Fight Night 30. It was a marked improvement over her previous performance, a grinding TKO loss to Liz Carmouche that was more about time and volume than damage done. However, she has a very real point to prove, that she can compete with women much, much bigger than her. At only 5' 2" she's not just small for 135, she'd be small for 125 too. Fortunately for her, Pennington's game is still highly underdeveloped. She tends to wait on opponents at range, looking to counter and often ends up ducking in for desperate takedown attempts as she gets swarmed for her lack of offense. Prediction: I had my doubts on the road to a title shot for Alexander Gustafsson. I thought he was overrated. I was wrong. He is arguably the second best light heavyweight in the world right now, unless Daniel Cormier sneaks into that spot. Jimi Manuwa is a powerhouse with a puncher's chance, but he has been beating down guys near the bottom of the ladder so far. This is a huge step up for him. Prediction: Michael Johnson has run roughshod up the rankings lately. He has some big wins and has shown some great improvements. Blagoy Ivanov (Bulgarian: Благой Иванов; born October 9, 1986) is a Bulgarian Sambo practitioner who won the 2008 Combat Sambo World Championships in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Blagoi has also competed in Judo as a heavyweight national representative for Bulgaria. He competed in the 2003 Balkan Junior Championships and placed first. First of all, Maldonado’s success has come against the lowest tier of the UFC light-heavyweight division. His striking success has come against the following opponents: Gian Villante, Joey Beltran, Roger Hollett, Igor Pokrajac, Kyle Kingsbury, and James McSweeney. Of those fighters, only Villante and Pokrajac are still in the UFC, and they’re both probably one loss away from being cut. When Maldonado fought a vastly superior opponent in Glover Teixeira he landed a grand total of ten significant strikes in two rounds. Miocic hasn’t faced the world’s strongest competition either, but he is coming off convincing victories over respectable opponents in Gabriel Gonzaga and Roy Nelson. These middleweights both make the cut on the media voted top 15 provided by the UFC, but surprisingly, the 11th ranked Mousasi is a big 1.37 (-270) favourite over the number 7 ranked Mark Munoz who sits at 3.57 (+257). We strongly feel that while our model has Mousasi to win and our initial inclination is definitely that Mousasi should take the victory, that the smart money would actually fall on Munoz in this case.
