Prediction: All fights start standing up and this one may not go to the ground. At distance, Woodley isn’t an active striker with 6.6 head jabs P5M and 20.8 power strikes compared to MacDonald’s 30.6 head jabs and 29.8 power strikes. Woodley’s power shots are bombs and he lands them 20 percent more accurately than average. His knockdown rate is three times that of the average welterweight and, while his cardio has been questioned, it doesn’t appear to be that bad.

Prediction: Speed kills and Mighty Mouse has loads of it in addition to his development as a great fighter anywhere the fight takes place. His striking has improved (as evidenced by the shock Benavidez KO), his transitions on the ground are so fluid that opponents don't even have time to counter, and his wrestling is the best in the division. Bagautinov is a really good fighter and has power in his strikes, but Mighty Mouse is just so much better than most of the division. And selfishly, I really want to see Mighty Mouse vs. Dodson 2, so this result accomplishes it. Demetrious Johnson by unanimous decision.

Prediction: Anton Tabuena: Arlovski has a slowly diminishing skill set, which was pretty evident even during his fights outside the Zuffa banner on the past couple of years. He should match up stylistically well against Schaub which should make it more interesting, but I am really having a hard time trying to justify picking Arlovski in 2014. Brendan Schaub by Decision.

Prediction: Could Henderson be 0-3 in his last three? I'd say so. For the longest time, the skepticism surrounding Henderson's career was whether or not his WEC success could translate into UFC success, as it was with all WEC fighters. When he took a decision win over Frankie Edgar for the LW title, it was seen as a validation of the WEC stable of fighters, but also a rebuke of the risk-averse style of the former LW champion. Alas, finishers! the critics said. Henderson hasn't finished a fight since then, going to questionable decision almost each time.

Prediction: Well damn. I thought I was going to pick Pearson to destroy Diego, but I needed to give this some (over)thought. Sanchez's losses in the past 2-3 years have been to established top 10 fighters -- I know, Gomi beat him, but I can't use that for this argument -- which Pearson is decidedly not. Pearson is a really good boxer, but he's not a particularly quick starter and Diego thrives off of chaos and fast-paced fighting, which I'm not sure Pearson has really conquered. I'm going with a stupid pick (and it's Tim's fault if I'm wrong) and riding on Diego to win over the judges one more time. Diego Sanchez by split decision.

Gegard Mousasi and Mark Munoz Fight Video - Munoz probably has the wrestling to win this - Mousasi's takedown defense, while improved, still isn't outstanding - but I don't think he can do that for five rounds without eating serious shots to his subpar chin on the feet. Even if he does manage to consistently work his takedowns and get to top position, Mousasi's bottom game is no joke. At best, I think the ground is a wash, and Mousasi should have a massive advantage at range. Mousasi, KO (upkick), round 2.

Fabio Maldonado vs. Stipe Miocic Fight Video Pick: real. Maldonado is going to be taken down and beaten senselessly. If Miocic loses this fight then he should seriously drop out of the heavyweight rankings and replaced by anybody. Including Ruan Potts. Stipe Miocic via TKO (doctor's stoppage) , round 3.

Francis Carmont vs. C.B. Dollaway Fight Video Prediction: Mookie Alexander: Oh forget it. Patrick has convinced me that Carmont wins this fight and I won't put the time and effort to try and construct an argument that Dollaway has what it takes to be a top 10 fighter. I can't stand watching Carmont but he's a top 10 middleweight, and Dollaway just feels like he's still a gatekeeper, but an improving gatekeeper. Francis Carmont by decision.

Rodrigo Damm vs. Rashid Magomedov Fight Video Pick: Magomedov overcame a game Tony Martin in his debut and showed only flashes of what he's capable of. Damm is tough, but he's nowhere near the striker Magomedov is, and his takedowns aren't good enough to consistently get this to the mat against a highly skilled defensive wrestler. I expect the Dagestani to dominate en route to a comfortable decision. Magomedov, unanimous decision.

Rony Jason vs. Robbie Peralta Fight Video Pick: This is the only decent fight on the main card featuring non-TUF guys. Peralta can hit and Jason is hittable, but Jason is the more well-rounded guy and I believe if he can clean up his defensive issues and tendency to be wild that he could be a top 15 FW soon. Antonio Carlos Junior vs. Vitor Miranda Fight Video Pick: Fraser Coffeen: So I watched TUF Brazil, which means that either I am going to do really well here or I am going to look like an idiot. Let's roll! Miranda is a fighter who does not have a massive number of fights, but he's been around the game, working as a striking coach with Nog. He's a really good technical striker with great combos. But he struggled in the semis when his opponent was aggressive, and Carlos? That guy is aggressive. He's blown through everyone here with a combination of jiu jitsu and striking. Carlos is a guy I am actively excited to see in the UFC Heavyweight division, and while Miranda has potential for the upset, I think he's overwhelmed here. Antonio Carlos Jr. by KO round 1
